Time Entry Grid Default Settings

The Time Entry Grid can be set up on the Time Entry Settings but also on this page. These settings are accessed by following the link from the Time Entry Settings.  

• Include future tasks which occur within week(s) of the end of the date range will show Tasks on your Time Entry Grid that occur within a specified amount of weeks from the end of the date range on the Time Entry Grid
• Projects that you are assigned to as a project manager will always show on the grid, as long as the project is active will show all Projects that you are assigned to as a PM assuming the Project is active
• Projects that you are assigned to as at least a resource will always show on the grid, as long as the project is active will show all Projects that you are a resource on on the grid assuming the Project is active
• Enable Single Entry per Day When time is entered into the grid, the last existing time entry is updated to equal the total amount for the day. The description and code of the last entry is updated to whatever the edited values are after.   When disabled, separate entries will be made into the grid. 
• Force Single Entry per Day on the Grid When enabled, users MUST use single entry per day mode, and they cannot override the setting on the time entry grid
• Enable Input on Completed Tasks When tasks are completed, they will remain on the grid and available for input as long as the task end date is after the start of the input period (week, or month, etc) 
• Include Holidays When enabled Includes inputs for Holidays & Vacation/PTO days
• Include Inputs for Non-Workdays will include the non-workdays that you set on the Project Work Schedule
• Day of Week to Input When using the month time sheet period, the inputs on the grid will be limited to only one day specified here per week
• Separate time code rows for Company entry  When enabled, a separate row for each time code is created for each company entry
• Include Issues enables time entries on Issues.
• Include To-Dos enables time entries on To-Dos.
• Include Custom Items enables time entries on custom items.

• Group By enables the grid to be grouped by Project or Company.
