This tool can be very useful for providing precise measurements of time spent on a task.
Top Right Navigation
The primary list of all timers is available in the top right corner of the navigation bar and uses this icon . There you can Add Timers and manage multiple timers.
You will first see these two options:
Then after clicking add timer you will see this:
You can review your timers if you click the "Show Timers" option:
Task Time Tab
If you are a resource assigned to a task, you will see the timer icon when you open a task. Clicking the timer icon will immediately start a timer and there will be a toast reminder in the bottom right corner of your screen.
After doing so you can go to your timers and log in the time you spent on that specific task directly from your timers, you will see the following screens when you do so;
Dashboard
Next to the Work Hours Entered, you see the timer icon. Clicking the timer icon will immediately start a timer and there will be a toast reminder in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Managing Multiple Timers
When you return to the Task Timers layer by clicking the Timer icon in the top right navigation, you will see all the timers you have started throughout your day.
You can begin tracking time and stop tracking time by clicking the Start Timer icon or Stop Timer icon
. If you need to clear the time and begin again, click the Clear Timer icon
.
Review for Submission
To submit the time tracked by the timer, click the "+ Time" icon to place the timer data into the task time entry line followed by the Save icon
on the entry line to record the entry.
