Welcome to Project Insight. Today, we'll guide you through the ins and outs of navigating this powerful project management tool. It all begins on the home screen, which is dedicated to tasks and projects that are yours. Many team members find they have no reason to navigate anywhere else, as they can provide all of their updates from here.
If you'd like to rearrange any of the icons, simply drag and drop to set them in a new order. You can work in the way that you prefer. In the top menu, there's also a reports menu. All the reports you have saved or that have been shared with you are just one click away.
If you have pages you return to often, there's a favorites menu where you can save certain pages, tasks, projects, or even your work list to your favorites, or set a default home screen. Anything related to you as the user will be beneath your picture icon, and the help button for this page will take you to the Help Center for context-sensitive help specific to this page.
Most of Project Insight is designed to point you to your projects and tasks, but if you need to go beyond your own assignments, clicking on the admin menu will take you to other settings and more information about your own work list, where your projects, specific tasks, issues, approvals, and time or expenses are located. If you're an administrator in the system, you can access user settings, group settings, and more.
One last tip: if you're navigating through Project Insight, this icon is a back button that will remember what page you were on most recently. Sometimes this is more helpful than the browser button because Project Insight will remember things like what report parameters were saved the last time you were on that page.
And that's it for navigating through Project Insight. We hope this guide helps you make the most of our powerful tool. Thanks for watching.
