Overview
Saving and sharing reports is a great way to communicate information in PI to all who need it. Over time, you may find that you have reports you no longer need or someone shared a report with you that you don't want. Below will show you the different options for you.
TIP: Before sharing a report with anyone, you should be a good report citizen and make sure that person really wants the report.
Deleting a Saved Report
Deleting a report you saved is really easy.
- Go to the reports menu
- Click the 3 dots on the report card for the report you'd like to delete
- Select the "Delete" option
Hiding a Report Shared with You
Sometimes you want to hide a report that someone shared with you. This does not delete the report, but it hides it from your view.
- Go to the reports menu
- Open the Shared section
- Click the 3 dots on the report card for the shared report that you'd like to hide
- Select the "Hide" option
Deleting a Report Shared with You
Sometimes you want to delete a report that someone shared with you. This will completely delete the report from all users' logins.
- Go to the reports menu
- Open the Shared section
- Click the 3 dots on the report card for the shared report that you'd like to hide
- Select the "Delete" option
Taking Ownership of a Report Shared with You
Sometimes you may want to take ownership of a report. For example, if the user that originally shared the report is no longer with your company and you want to manage the report now. This is how you'd do it.
- Go to the reports menu
- Open the Shared section
- Click the 3 dots on the report card for the shared report that you'd like to hide
- Select the "Take Ownership" option
