Welcome to the task detail screen. We have organized everything you will need to complete this task. To start, there is a hyperlink to take you back to the task list, and the task title is displayed in the largest font here. The scheduled dates for the tasks are also shown, along with the duration in days.
No matter how your team estimates effort—whether through hours, t-shirt sizes, or story points—this information will be displayed in this area. If there are multiple resources assigned, they will be listed next to your name. It is easy to update the status by clicking the button here and selecting from your list of statuses. You can also add time by clicking anywhere in the time bar.
If someone has provided a description, you will see that displayed down here, laid out in the order of what you will need most. Comments are next, and it is easy to add a comment directly from this screen. Any related items that may assist you are also available here, with a number indicating how many there are.
As a project manager, you might find the additional fields located at the bottom of the screen useful.
