This video shows how an Admin can restart a Time Sheet approval process for teams using the Auto-Approve method rather than the 1-Tier or 2-Tier approval methods.

This is the tutorial on how to edit or resubmit a time sheet that you need to modify or make changes to after it has already been submitted, utilizing the auto-approved methodology here in Project Insight.
In this use case scenario, we have an individual named Allis, who knows that there is an error on his time sheet, but he has already submitted it. What we are going to do is assist Allis in making the necessary changes. Allis can view his time sheet in the time home, and while he can add to it, he cannot modify or make any changes to it. Therefore, we will need to escalate this issue so that he can make those changes.
To proceed, we will need to be logged in as someone who has administrator privileges. In this situation, we will run a time sheet report to find out where that report is located. We will enter "Reports" and then select "Time Sheet." We'll choose the option for last month since it was one from last month that needs to be corrected. Next, we will hit "Run Report."
Now, you can see the different time sheets that have been submitted by Allis over the specified time period. Allis informed us that this is the report he submitted back on the 22nd through the 28th of December. We will go ahead and click on that date to open the time sheet.
Now that we are in the time sheet, we can view all the hours that have been submitted by Allis. To proceed, we will go to the top of the screen and select "Assign Myself as Approver." This action will grant us temporary privileges to be the time sheet approver. Now, we need to send this back to Allis, and in order to do that, I need to delete the time sheet.
Deleting the time sheet does not remove the entries from the system; it simply deletes it from the approved time sheets queue. We will hit "Delete," and it will ask us if we are sure we want to delete the time sheet. We will confirm by hitting "OK." Now, it is no longer visible in this queue. We will go back to Allis's workspace and begin making the changes.
Back in Allis's workspace, for the date range we previously viewed (the 22nd through the 28th), he can now submit this time sheet. However, because there are changes that need to be made, we will go back to the time entry grid to make those adjustments. We will scroll back two weeks, and Allis needs to add two hours on the 24th. We will add those two hours using the default time code, select "Add Time," and now that change has been saved.
Next, we will go ahead and resubmit this from the time entry grid by hitting "Submit" and confirming that change. Now, Allis has successfully resubmitted that time sheet, and you can see that it is once again submitted and locked, so he cannot make further edits. That is how you go about resubmitting a time sheet that has been submitted using the auto-approved methodology here in Project Insight.
