The Unsubmitted Time Sheet Report retrieves a list of unsubmitted time sheets along with a check box to send each reported user an email. Simply right-click on the selection column when finished selecting users to email and select the option "Send Email".
Reading the Report
The Unsubmitted Time Sheet Report may seem like it is only showing you the submitted time. Well if that is what you are thinking, then you are correct! The logic behind the report is trying to show the viewer something that is not there, or not submitted rather. To do that, the report shows the gaps under each Period that you set (weekly, monthly, etc). Empty spaces that are highlighted show where there are NO submitted time entries.
For Ex: the data below is showing submitted times for Sylvester Strongbad as only submitted time for the week of 11/11/2018 at 15 hours.
Date Range Type
The initial display above includes the option to select date ranges for the report. Setting dates allows for the selection of a "Date Range Type"," the first of which is a "Dynamic Dates" selection.
Dynamic Dates - Are a preset ranges of dates that are commonly used, such as current week, current month, last month, next year and that change automatically. If a report is saved with these settings or a filter is remembered with these settings, the next time report is run of the filter is applied, the date range will change automatically relative to the current date. For example, if the current month is October, selecting "Current Month" as a Dynamic Date Range will automatically set the date range to Oct 1 to Oct 31st. If the current month then becomes November, the date range will reset automatically to Nov 1 to Nov 30. The report or filter does not have to be changed as the range changes automatically.
Specific Dates - These are specific dates that are entered and you control what the range is. If a report is saved with these settings or a filter is remembered with these settings, those specific date ranges will be saved as well and when the report is re-run or the filter applied, it will always use those exact dates, they will never change.
Report Mode
Report Mode this option allows the selection of either doing a Time Sheet Report or Time Entries Report based on whether the user entered in less hours than the minimum for the period or the available hours for the period.
Check Boxes Options
Selecting the check boxes will refine the report to these specific scenarios.
Companies / Departments / User Types
Selecting from the drop downs for Companies, Departments and/or User Types will further refine your report.
Column Selection Filtering Options
Column Selection Filtering Options will control the data fields displayed as columns for the report. Detailed information for setting preferences in the data field column displays is contained in the Column Display Options topic.
