Project Insight offers a diverse selection of AI-powered features that extend from notetaking to project planning and resource/budget allocation. Each of the features can be installed and turned on or left off individually, based on your team's preferences. If AI is not a good fit for your organization, Project Insight has a global setting that turns off all AI features across your entire workspace.
Each Add-on can be enabled by clicking Add-ons and using your Get More Add-On tab to enable the features highlighted below.

AI-powered Meeting Minutes and Meeting Notes
AI-Meeting Actions takes a raw meeting transcript and does the admin work for you. Drop in a transcript from any meeting platform and Project Insight automatically generates a clean summary, lists attendees and invited no-shows, and creates tasks, issues, risks, decisions, and follow-up actions directly in the project. The Meeting Minutes form is pre-populated for PM review and approval, then saved into a project-specific meeting repository that your team can search and report on.

AI-powered Project Planning
Use AI to generate a tailored Project Plan / Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that matches the real work in your project, not a generic template.
AI-powered project planning creates templates that match your projects, not generic ones, so you can create an accurate project plan or WBS based on your specific inputs, ready to fine-tune and reuse.
Guide the AI with details like business type, project duration, phases, roles, and milestones. Instantly receive a structured WBS you can edit, compare across renditions, and turn into a reusable template or live project plan.

• Capture key project inputs: business type, duration, overview, phases, roles, and deliverables
• Select project complexity (Simple, Modest, or Complex) to control the level of detail
• Generate a WBS with phases, tasks, and milestones tailored to your specific project

What-if Simulations
What-If Simulations allow you to explore different scenarios across your projects, resources, budgets, and timelines before committing to any changes. This feature helps you understand the impact of alternative assignments, schedule shifts, or budget adjustments, improving your ability to plan proactively and make informed decisions.

AI-assisted copy editing
Anywhere in Project Insight that allows for freeform text (HTML-friendly text-editing fields) has options to rephrase, check grammar, summarize, elaborate, or even translate your typed content. Most commonly, you will see this option in Comments or Descriptions, but you will also see this option in HTML friendly custom fields.
For instance, I can choose from the Write with AI options to rephrase my content and get a better description for my task:
- A standard or professional voice changes the tone of your message
- Regenerate will prompt another attempt
- Replace will commit your changes
