User Capacity

First-off this is not an out-of-the-box feature in PI, if you want to use it we will have to turn it on for your instance (at no cost). If you have Users that are contracted for only a specific amount of time, PI can track future (forecasted) Resource availability.

Step 1

• Confirm with our Accounts team to turn on the feature
• Navigate to the Add-on section
• Install the Add-on

Step 2

• Set individual User Capacities and Allocation
• Under Admin > Users > Resource Info

Step 3

• Assign the User Work Items
• View their availability on Resource Allocation Report
• When the resource allocation report covers ranges outside of the dates specified, the user capacity will be 0 hours
• Your users will only be "available" during those dates, and his capacity will be calculated normally according to the profile setting

• When the User Capacity appears in purple, it is because the user has PTO
• When the user capacity appears in red, over-allocated
