How to Sum Custom Field Values on a Task List

Custom Fields can be used for a myriad of things; names, categories, currency, etc. This article walks through how to sum a Custom Field value that is an integer, such as currency or counts.

For example, if I am tracking Word Counts on each task, Task A has 100 Words and Task B has 50 Words, enabling the "sum" will let you know the total if Task A and B were under a Summary Task. Totaling that Word Count at 150 Words at the Summary Task level.
