With Project Insight for Outlook, you can:
- Create tasks and issues directly from an email
- Add email attachments to tasks and issues
- Store email attachments in your document repository
- Sign in to Outlook using your existing PI workspace name or create a FREE Project Insight workspace to get started.
Outlook Security Scopes Required
The Project Insight App in Outlook will require access to these Security Scopes in order to function
| Security Scope | Purpose |
|---|---|
| offline_access | To avoid requiring users to re-authenticate over long sessions |
| openid | Required for basic OpenID authentication |
| profile | Allows receiving metadata on the user's profile in the OpenID token |
| User.Read | Read basic information from the user's profile |
| Mail.Read | Allows for creating tasks in Project Insight from content of email messages |
| File.ReadWrite | Allows for email attachments to be added to tasks in Project Insight |
