In March of 2019, Project Insight informed you of Microsoft's intention to Sunset IE. Microsoft made the switch to promoting the Edge browser, and now has gone so far as to discourage the use of Internet Explorer as a default browser. For many teams, this is not surprising, and we have seen a decrease in the number of customers using Internet Explore 11 across our platforms.
Project Insight will continue to develop with new technology. Our road-map requires we take advantage of modern web standards and deliver to you, our customers, the best possible functionality and user experience. With this commitment in mind, Project Insight must end support for IE11.
What happens when you end support of IE11?
- We will not fix bugs only associated with IE11
What does this mean for you?
- You should experience continued support and functionality of Project Insight using IE until March 1, 2020
- At that point, using Project Insight with any Internet Explorer browser will be at your own discretion
Next Steps
Discover a new browser either supported by Microsoft (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/microsoft-edge) or Chrome/Firefox/Safari.
