SSL Scanner Slows PI Performance

The Problem

A new scanning technique that checks SSL connection and JavaScript is now being deployed by various customers. This affects SaaS & dedicated Azure customers. It performs much like the anti-virus script scanning slowing down almost all AJAX and other JavaScript PI has. This can cause unreasonable delays in list values loading, expanding and collapsing the left nav or groupings, etc.  Sometimes it causes the page to just time out.

The Fix

To fix this, a client's IT adminstrator needs to whitelist *.projectinsight.net in their SSL scanning software. Users should clear their cache, close all browsers and reopen after the whitelisting has been applied.  This should eliminate the issue
