Why is company mapping important?
Company mapping tells Project Insight which QuickBooks Online customer corresponds to each Project Insight company.
Accurate mappings help prevent financial records from being connected to the wrong customer and support more consistent data between Project Insight and QuickBooks Online.
Common mapping issues
The mapping is not proposed automatically
Project Insight may not suggest a mapping when the company and customer names are different. Select the correct Project Insight company manually from the dropdown.
The wrong company was mapped
Use the Unmap action, and then select the correct Project Insight company.
A QuickBooks Online customer is missing
Only active QuickBooks Online customers appear on the mapping page. Confirm that the customer is active in QuickBooks Online.
