Instructions
Log into Project Insight.
Go to Add-ons and locate SharePoint Integration.
Click Configure.
Sign in with your Microsoft account and grant permissions.
Choose integration scope:
Select Projects Only to create folders just for projects.
Select a parent SharePoint site/folder for new project folders.
Example: “PMO Site → Projects folder.”
If undecided, you can choose later.
Save settings.
Verify by creating a test project in PI — confirm a folder is created in SharePoint.
Notes
PI does not push files into SharePoint — it simply creates the linked folder.
Teams can upload charters, budgets, and project documents into SharePoint.
Troubleshooting
- If no folder appears, confirm that the parent SharePoint site has been selected.
Check that the account used has site-level permissions to create folders.
