Receiving unwanted Email notifications

"Why did I get this email?" users ask all the time.

First, email notifications come from two places:

• Global Auto Alerts
• Setting your own Auto Alerts

If you want to know where a particular auto-alert generated, check the bottom of the email:

The bottom of every email says what has triggered this auto-alert.

You can use this information to tell your Administrator to turn this alert off.
