The My Allocation report in Project Insight shows your personal resource allocation for the Date Range you select. Use this report to see how much work is assigned to you, review your workload, and understand whether you have assigned work during a specific time period.
Best for: Team members, project managers, and resource managers who need to review an individual user’s workload, confirm assigned work, or check personal allocation by date range.
What does the My Allocation report show?
The My Allocation report shows allocation information for you only. It uses the Date Range selected in the report display to show the work assigned to you during that period.
Project Insight does this by connecting task assignments, scheduled work, and reporting filters so users can quickly understand their own workload without building a separate resource report.
How do I change the results in My Allocation?
Use the filter options icon to change the results shown in your My Allocation report.
After you adjust the report filters, run the report to update the results.
Quick Tip: Your filter changes are saved after you run the report.
Why is my My Allocation report blank?
The My Allocation report will show no work if you do not have anything assigned to you during the Date Range you selected.
If the report is blank, check the selected date range first. Then confirm that tasks or work items are assigned to you during those dates.
Can I run AI What If Simulations from resource allocation reports?
Yes. Project Insight allows you to run AI simulations from resource allocation reports. These What If Simulations help you explore possible workload and allocation changes before making project or resource decisions.
To start, select the AI simulation icon in the top right of the report.
Project Insight then displays simulation options that can help you review possible resource allocation scenarios.
What should I check before using My Allocation?
- Make sure the Date Range covers the time period you want to review.
- Confirm that work is assigned to you during that date range.
- Run the report after changing filters so your changes are saved.
- If you are using AI What If Simulations, review the available simulation options before applying changes.
