The following procedures only pertains to Installed Project Insight websites. If you are running McAfee (or other Anti-Virus Software), the McAfee system may be cutting off the ability for Project Insight to complete a connection to your local (or remote) SMTP server. McAfee by default will intercept the connection after it has been established and will shut it down by brute force, resulting in a distinct error message. The “Stack Trace” of an error generated from sending an “Email Page” results in the following:

Resolution:
For McAfee VirusScan, remove the setting in the application which blocks port 25 (labeled in the application as "Prevent mass mailing worms from sending email"):
