Update License Key for On-Premise Customers Only

On-Premise Project Insight Enterprise customers can update their license key to change their number of users. This does not require any downtime for your Project Insight users.

1. Go to Project Insight Web server open file explorer
2. Open "Notepad" or equivalent text editor with Administration privileges    
3. In text editor, click "open file"
4. Navigate to c:\Inetpub\ProjectInsight\
   • Drive letter could vary - check IIS for location of your Project Insight web site
5. Open the file "web.config"
6. In the file, look for the key "ProjectInsightLicenseKey"
   • Should be the second option below the "appSettings"
7. In the "value" field, remove everything inside the quotes
   • Leave the quotes
     
8. Copy the new key from the provided text file
9. Paste it between the quotes (this will replace the old key)
10. Save the "web.config" file
