Excel Task List Import - Support For Complete Task Model

The Excel Task Import currently accepts a limited number of fields related to tasks within. This request is to expose more of the Task object model through the Excel Task Import function, so that we can upload more data fields than what is currently included in the task import template. For example, our organization's project model includes a complex task list which leverages both Milestones and Predecessor Lead/Lag times.

  Hi Robert,

  We have made some adjustments recently to the Excel Task List Import that you may be interested in. As of this most recent release to v21.2.0, Task Custom Fields can be imported as well as the Task Description and WBS column. Please see our video for Task Custom Field imports here.

  We also have Placeholder Resources planned to be imported via the Resources column on the Excel Import - this is planned for the current 21.3.0 release. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
