Team Member Status Board Updates

Team members like to assign their own work and manage it in one place, like on their own status board. We have PM assigned work and a lot of smaller things we add ourselves using the To-dos. The status board is appropriately named the Task Status Board because I must go elsewhere to update my self-assigned To-dos.

How about a Work Status Board that is not limited only to tasks? I know I can do both from the dashboard, but I prefer the status board as my one-stop updates page.
