Ability to manually update tasks hrs automatically assigned to a resource over a period of time

I am outlining the below scenario to clearly explain what i am looking at which i am sure will be useful to other users as well.

Resource A has been assigned tasks on 3rd & 5th Oct 7 hrs each

3 Oct - 7 hrs Task 1

4 Oct - 7 hrs Task 2

PM - then adds a Task 3 for 10 hrs for a period 1st Oct - 5th Oct. The system logically breaks this into 2 hrs per day and assigns 2 hrs  for each day from 1st Oct to 5th Oct

3rd Oct & 4th Oct now becomes overallocated to 9 hrs (8 hrs work day)

We would like an option to go ahead and Edit the hrs Manually for Tasks 3, i.e. edit 3 Oct & 4 Oct hrs to 1 hr each and then add the 2 hrs to either of the other days (between 1st - 5th Oct) where there is availability.

This would help the PM's to do resource leveling and effectively manage the resource / tasks hrs
