We have had several instances where we get 2-4 duplicate projects created with consecutive project numbers. I did a test where I created a project from a project request and at when I was finished with the project creation, I double clicked on the save button and 2 projects were created. It seems that during the latency after the save button is selected, if someone were to keep selecting the save button, we would get many duplicates.

We are trying to fix this procedurally, but is there a PI development fix for this?

  Yes, you may notice in the latest release that the save icon now shows an in-progress image immediately upon clicking and will no longer allow the double-click problem to duplicate the item.
