Project Request Number Display

We have the Project Request Number displayed as part of our configuration when you look at a request post-entry, but the customer isn’t given that request number feedback when they enter the request. They add the request, save it and return to the previous page they were on after they save it. They would have to know to select the non-default option to “Save & Display” when they complete the request form. How can we make it so that they always see the request number, and preferably a link to it immediately upon saving it?

  Hi Della,

  Any item in Project Insight does not get created until save is hit so number is associated but we have discussed this internally and we have suggested to Development that perhaps a Toast, will appear on the screen with the Item Number see it is visible and can also be clicked on might be a method that might work in this scenario. Thoughts from our users on how this could work?
