If you have similar approval requests of projects and tasks, can you save approval requests on templates?

  Yes, you can add the approval requests to a template. This could be for saving an approval request routing, for example. You may want certain approvals to go to five people so you save an approval request, make sure it is not activated, and save that to your template for use in each project.

  Do NOT add items to be approved into the template approval request because the approval request will copy that item into each new approval request. You will need to leave the approval items list null. For example, if you were to set an approval request for a certain task in your template, then the copied approval request will be an approval request for the task in the template, not the new task in the new project created from the template.
