Isssue PI Adding Files
Hi, we are experiencing a problem with adding documents in PI when opening new and existing projects. When adding the electronic documents (ex. word and excel files) they are not exporting correctly, the extensions are dropped and the preview icon is not visible. It is almost as if the document is a ghost image that can not be opened.
We have not experienced this issue before please advise how we should proceed. If we are not able to add files to the projects and view them it will delay the process of our projects.

I'm sorry this stopped working for you. I just did a quick test with Excel and Word Office 365 versions and did not have this problem. I was using Chrome as my browser. Could you please let us know which version of Office you're using and your browser as well? We should be able to replicate the problem using the same software as you.
One more thing you and I can test is the procedure in which you perform the uploads. Are you using drag and drop or clicking the upload icon to browse for the file? While that shouldn't make any difference it might give us some direction as to the specific problem. Thank you.

Hi yes, I primarily work in Chrome and some of my team members work in Internet Explorer. I have tried both versions of Chrome and Internet Explorer. We are a marketing team and load more than just Excel and Word here are the programs that are used daily.
- Microsoft Word 2010- Mircosoft Powerpoint 2010 - Microsoft Excel 2010
- Microsoft Publisher 2010
- PNG and JPEG files
- PDF that is created from Adobe Suites (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign)
Yes, I have tested the program before I reached out and clicked on the Add icon button and added the file this way it works.
So now at this time we have to add one file at a time since the icon for adding multiple files is not working and we are not able to drop and drop multiple files at one time.

Thank you and yes this helps a lot! I am seeing the exact same issue and have reported it to development. They are evaluating errors and hope to have the multiple file upload plus drag and drop working again shortly. I will update this post as we progress. Thanks again!
