"Save As New" Report Should Force The New Report Page to Load
Finding URLs for new reports is difficult when I'm basing them off old ones.
The page URL and task report menu in the nav bar do not refresh upon "Saving as new report" - this makes finding the URL a few clicks away (Task Reports (all)>Name of new report) and I'm forced to navigate off that page (which I usually don't want to do).
Forcing the page to load the *new saved report* would make this much less confusing for myself and others when I'm explaining the process to them.

I wonder if we could make it easier to copy a link in the first place and solve this issue at the same time. What if instead of running the report we provided the link, either in a layer or some other manner that didn't require you to run it to get the link in the first place? Right now you're getting it from the address bar and you happen to know where the GUID for the report ends, discarding the rest of it.
Am I correct in that being your current method? It seems like we should make these report URLs easier to get for any report while we're addressing the efficiency of getting it for a new saved report. I'm with you that less need for explaining is always better!

That sounds like a smart kill-2-birds with one stone kind of solution!

Yes that's our current method - just pulling from address bar.
