Notifications tile on Dashboard has no options to change the display

Most other dashboards have an option to filter which items to display on the Dashboard.  Users would like to filter by time ago, a day, a week, x # of days, etc?  Only certain types of Notifications, Task, Task Assignment, etc.

ALSO - the ability to hide notifications - the same functionality that we offer for tasks and other dashboard items - click the hide icon once you've read it, once it no longer applies, etc.

It would be nice if I could delete individual notifications from the dashboard so I can keep track of the ones that are specifically for me and remove ones that are not related to tasks I'm working on. This would make me more efficient at finishing tasks.

  It would also be nice to be able to:

  1) group or sort the notifications in different ways, such as grouping by project or sorting by task, etc.

  2) Add a "flag" to a notification and then be able to sort by flags so that I can see which things I need to follow up on.

  ALSO:  Put horizontal lines between notifications so that we can see where one ends and another one begins!  Just like all the other tables on the dashboard.
