Task List Text selection / copy behavior
Users can now select text in task lists without triggering drag/edit behavior.
Users can now copy text from task list rows more reliably.
Reports now allow text selection without entering edit mode.
This was described as a subtle usability fix, especially for copying names or report values.
Cross Project Gantt chart
Cross Project Gantt chart fields are now editable.
Schedule start date can be edited directly in the Cross Project Gantt.
Start and end dates can be set from the Gantt view.
Date changes move the project when constraints allow it.
Fixed constraints still affect whether the project visually moves.
Details can be opened from the row menu.
Details can also be opened from the context menu.
Items can be changed to summary or non-summary from the menu.
The menu spacing/layout needs a small visual cleanup in dev.
Kanban / task boards
Priority now displays on task board cards.
Priority color indicators now show on cards.
Priority appears on cards even when priority is not the main board field.
Boards can now sort by priority.
Boards can now group by priority.
Priority groups include high, medium, low, and no priority.
The board code was refactored so shared card layout logic is in one place instead of copied across many board types.
This should make future board layout changes easier and more consistent.
Invoice records
Discount features in invoice records were referenced as already shown.
Company custom fields now transfer to invoice records.
This works similarly to how project custom fields transfer.
Task copy workflow
Copy task modal now shows the old/original task name.
Copied task name can now be edited during the copy step.
Sprint can be changed while copying.
Priority can be changed while copying.
Work status can be adjusted while copying.
Work status defaults to “not started” unless the user chooses to keep the existing status.
Assigned people can be removed during copy.
Task owner can be changed during copy.
Estimated hours/work estimate can be changed during copy.
The copied task is created with those updates immediately.
This removes the need to copy first, then open edit mode.
Useful for moving/copying work into the next sprint.
Task copy UI is now consistent between the task list and the task board.
Program / planning color picker
Program view now has a larger color menu.
Preferred colors appear across the top.
Extended colors appear below.
Users can still use the older/custom picker.
This gives more color options while keeping a more uniform palette.
Portfolio/program planning date editing
Start dates can now be edited in higher-level planning views.
Editing the start date updates the project’s schedule start date.
This supports big-picture planning, implementation planning, and executive-level planning views.
There was discussion about whether editing the calculated “start date” column should pop/edit the schedule start date instead, to reduce the need for multiple date columns.
