Use SoapUI to make REST calls

If your team already uses SoapUI, you can still make REST calls.

You will need:

Next, make a REST call to authenticate and receive an authentication key

Tip: This REST call expects a JSON user object. To learn more about JSON, click here.

If you have created your JSON user object correctly and supplied the correct Project Insight credentials, the method will return a key successfully.

Tip: Provide your Project Insight API Token, username, password and set the token timeout expiration value.

This is just one example of using a 3rd party tool, such as SoapUI, to test and validate Project Insight REST services.
