Changing Column Widths on Reports

A common experience is that on saved report someone will want to change the column widths in order to format the view of the project by going between the column headers and dragging to the desired width, only to discover next time they run the report it reverted back to the prior width.

There is some additional step needed in order to save the new column width.  You must first click on the display options icon .  This now will load the new column width as a pixel width value for your column.  Now you can click , and finally you can click  .

This will save your new column width for next time you run your saved report.  

An alternative option is to also change the column width via the pixel width by inputting an integer value when view the column selection.

Then you can click Run Report and then Save Report if you choose this method to change your column width.
